Counselling differs from Therapy because it focuses on specific 'here and now' issues rather than dealing with deep-seated problems emanating from earlier negative experiences in life.
It enables you to talk through a problem with a skilled listener, helping you to examine important issues and guide you to your own solution
It can help you to reach a clearer understanding of many of the problem areas in your life, (relationships, children, work, loss etc.), to identify and use your own strengths and help you to cope with them in a positive and satisfying manner.
